Skills & Drills — Mixed-Level Series Class
DESCRIPTION
Build your taiko skills through a variety of drills Mondays from 7:15 — 9:00 pm. Explore new rhythms, practice soloing and learn how to make more powerful hits with less effort. All classes are held in person at the Oregon Buddhist Temple (3720 SE 34th Avenue). Please plan to attend all class sessions.
PREREQUISITE
Completion of at least one Beginning Class series with Portland Taiko or permission from instructor.
COST
$245 + ticketing fee

Spring Session: April 13th – June 1st
Mondays from 7:15 — 9:00 pm. No class Memorial Day, Monday May 25th.
Advance registration required.
Intermediate Taiko — Series Class
DESCRIPTION
Improve your form, timing and other taiko skills weekly on Wednesdays from 6:00 – 7:00 pm. Please plan to attend all class sessions.
All classes are held in person at the Oregon Buddhist Temple (3720 SE 34th Avenue).

Completion of at least one Beginning Class series with Portland Taiko or permission from instructor.

Advanced Taiko — Series Class
DESCRIPTION
Practice ensemble playing, soloing and learn more complex taiko pieces Wednesdays from 7:15 – 9:00 pm. Please plan to attend all classes sessions. All classes are held in person at the Oregon Buddhist Temple (3720 SE 34th Avenue).
PREREQUISITE
Previous enrollment in an Advanced class with Portland Taiko or permission from instructor.
