Play a little taiko in the comfort of your own home! We’ll be hosting a 90-minute taiko workshop (Taiko 101) on Wednesday, January 13, sliding scale.

The next week, our taiko classes begin! “Movement and Matsuri” is designed for beginners and focuses on two examples of festival drumming, Midare Matsuri and Shishimai. Our advanced class, “Beyond Basics,” will work on the flowing choreography of Midare Matsuri, the power and grace of Hachijo, and the interlocking rhythms of Shishimai.
